Raysa Molina is a Dominican visual artist who started practicing abstract doodling in 2015 as a meditation therapy. By learning a few patterns, she soon realized the need to develop her own style. As she was learning this practice, intricate drawings were created, and more and more ideas came into her mind to “complete” the drawings. The step of adding shading and colors took her experimental journal into a higher level of artistic expression.

Doodles are spontaneous uncensored marks that are made quickly and can take many forms, from abstract patterns or designs to images of concrete objects. However, these marks are far being the mindless scribbles of a distracted mind. Doodling has cognitive and emotional benefits. Doodling can actually help you focus and make it easier to listen. It can relieve stress and improve productivity.
